Taryn Dunivant is blessed to be a botanist with a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences from the University of California Santa Cruz. Her passion for plants began at a young age in Los Angeles and has led her to amazing opportunities. Through hard work and a blooming spirit, Dunivant has botanized in Costa Rica, visited international botanical gardens, and conducted research at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Currently, she is a Masters student at The University of Kansas in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a member of the Hileman Lab, studying plant genetics and development. Dunivant's love for science and plant biology drives her mission to share her knowledge with her community and is what makes her so honored to be an NCSE Graduate Student Fellow.
