- Do you have a passion for climate science, evolution, or the nature and practice of science as a field?
- Are you concerned about anti-science sentiment, distrust in science, and educators' challenges in accurately teaching science?
- Do you want to expand your network and understanding while positively impacting the teaching and learning of these topics in classrooms nationwide?
If so, join NCSE as a Sound Science Fellow!
What is it? | The NCSE Sound Science Fellowship is a partnership between the National Center for Science Education and higher education faculty or museum educators who share our mission and vision. The fellowship is an integral part of NCSE’s Supporting Teachers Program, providing professional learning opportunities to K-12 science teachers, developing new approaches to resolve misconceptions, engaging in discourse surrounding the challenges teachers and learners face with topics that are seen as “controversial” to the public, and conducting research to develop best practices for approaching the teaching and learning of topics such as evolution and climate change. |
