My COAST (Climate-Oriented Authentic Science Teaching)

My COAST is a professional development opportunity to improve K-12 teacher understanding, interest, content knowledge, and pedagogical practices related to coastal areas most threatened by our changing climate. These hands-on, minds-on workshops give teachers a chance to study coastal regions in the field, with support from local scientists, and engage with researchers and NCSE staff to shape classroom experiences for their students.
