Lilly Jones is a PhD candidate in Geology and Geological Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Her dissertation examines potential threats to water resources on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, where she attended tribal college as an undergraduate. Jones is currently a Next Generation Fellow with the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, as well as being a fellow with the NCSE.
