Kudos for Maya Garcia, a member of NCSE's board of directors

NCSE is pleased to congratulate Maya Garcia, Chief Program Officer of Beyond100K and a member of NCSE's board of directors, on receiving a 2026 Schwab Foundation Award in the category of Collective Social Innovators. Garcia as well as Talia Milgrom-Elliott, Beyond100K's founder and executive director, was named in a press release (PDF) from the foundation, which described Beyond100K as "[t]he nerve centre of a national movement to end the STEM teacher shortage."
