Kelly Pipes is a Journeyman level beekeeper, incorporating her experiences from the apiary and as a former NOAA Planet Steward into her hands-on, place-based teaching. Pipes has a Ph.D. in higher education administration and a master’s degree in secondary education for reading/young adult literature. She finds this wide range of experience and perspective invaluable in her work as an educator and as a teacher ambassador.
