Safeguarding Sound Science: NCSE's new podcast

Safeguarding Sound Science.

Safeguarding Sound Science is NCSE's new podcast, intended to combat misinformation, disinformation, and misconceptions with actual science.

In the first season, Mat Kaplan (the former host of Planetary Radio) talks to scientists, teachers, and other experts to explore who's behind some of the more insidious efforts to spread misinformation about climate change, how those efforts filter down to schools and classrooms, and what is being done to ensure that everyone, especially students, get an accurate climate change education. The first two episodes — "What Climate Change? Tackling Climate Denial," with Michael E. Mann and NCSE's Glenn Branch, and "A Century of Disinformation," with Naomi Oreskes — are now available via all your favorite podcasting platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
