Carin Bondar is a Canadian biologist and science communicator with a PhD in population ecology from the University of British Columbia. She is the host of several television and web series about science — and was recently a guest on NCSE's podcast — as well as the author of several books, including Wild Moms (2018). Bondar is the chair of the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, and also serves on the board of education of her local school district.
