NCSE is pleased to congratulate Gale Sinatra of the University of Southern California, a member of NCSE's board of directors, on receiving a Career Achievement Award for Distinguished Psychological Contributions to Education from Division 15 of the American Psychological Association. Those receiving the award "are recognized for research in the best tradition of educational psychology, meaning that the award is conferred for original, scientific research that contributes significantly to knowledge, theory, or practice in educational psychology," according to the division. The award was announced in 2025; Sinatra received the award, including a plaque and a $1000 honorarium, at the APA convention held in Washington DC in August 2026.
