Matthew Allen earned a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Wesleyan University where he also played baseball. He spent seven years teaching in Tennessee public schools before coming to the prestigious McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN. He is completing his second year teaching seventh-grade science at McCallie, as well as serving as an assistant coach for middle school football and varsity baseball.
