"Journey into Darkness: The Allegory of the Cave" webinar now available

As part of Darwin Day 2026, NCSE and the National Association of Biology Teachers hosted a webinar featuring Rick Hunter and K. Lindsay Hunter, who described their roles in the discovery of Homo naledi in the Rising Star cave system in South Africa. NCSE's Wendy Johnson and Britt Miller then presented NCSE's "The Human Story," a Story Short educational activity on human evolution. The event was emceed by NCSE Executive Director Amanda L. Townley. More than 500 people registered for the webinar.
