Fossil Friday!

Last week on the Fossil Friday I gave you a really tough challenge...well, not that tough, but it was a plant, and plants are hard, apparently. So this week, I'm heading back over to the land of the animals, where we can bask in the glow of tibias and mandibles.

So what is this week's fossil?

Well, I won't give away any hints, but I know there will be one commenter who will find this to be a toothsome addition to Fossil Friday. What is this fossil? What animal did it come from? If you are feeling particularly energetic, perhaps you can tell me both what epoch it came from and where it was found!

Due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the answer will be coming out on Tuesday, giving you one extra day to guess! Post your answers in the comments below.
